Your Church Home In The Hills

About Us

Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church is a member of one of the largest denominations in the world -the United Methodists As United Methodists, we follow the doctrines, principles and polity of the Methodist Church founded by John Wesley.  The United Methodists are connected to one another and support one another.

Here at Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church, we are that and much more.  Through our Minister, Paul Strang, the Word of God is Bible-preached.  Through our Choir Director, Vincent Biondi, our 40-member Choir adds music which is both inspirational and motivating.

Our members are family and you will feel this when you walk through our doors.  We care for each other not only through our Shepherding Program, with Shepherds who keep watch over their designated flocks, but also through our Care and Nurture, Family Life, Evangelism and Education endeavors.

Each year Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church holds a very-well attended Vacation Bible School.  The 2009 VBS theme was Camp E.D.G.E.

Our United Methodist Women meet once a month and support the missions of the church.  They provide mothers’ baskets, which are full of necessities for young mothers.  Our Missions Committee provides flood buckets for those affected by disasters and participates in other mission projects throughout the world.

Just north of our church in a lovely wooded area is our Memorial Park.  Within the Park is our Columbarium, a circular wooden structure that shelters marble-faced niches in which the remains of loved ones may be interred.  Access is available over an intriguing bridge that swoops across a shallow valley near the shelter.  Aesthetically designed and erected a few years ago by members of our church to blend with its surroundings, it invites one to linger and relax while contemplating the natural beauty of God’s world.

When you visit us here at Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church, you will feel the Spirit of God at work and the Love of Christ in our midst.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

....and our Church is almost as lovely as its people !
