Missions

Mission(s), Task, which God sends a person that, He has called.  In the Christian context the person sent is called a missionary.  They were not to be overly concerned about their physical or material needs.  God calls mission committee members to be of service to others.  They must have the desire to learn and be trained to help others in need.  Look beyond the church for ways the church can serve those in need.  They must not be self centered or self-serving (Philippians 2:3). 

Have faith not to fear going or doing what is needed to serve.  Remember I can do all things  through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).   Through annual fundraisers we sponsor our missionary, send Volunteers In Mission (VIM) to New Orleans, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (click here ---->(UMCOR)) depot, and many State and local disaster areas.  We have two-trained VIM team leaders, that can arrange your VIM mission.  Please join us to feel God's call to serve others!
